Corporate Agreements and Cross-Border Compliance

Case overview

HGG advised a global compliance management company on reviewing and refining critical corporate agreements, including services provided in Chile. This included a short-term Master Services Agreement and two key agreements with a leading global engineering company. The work ensured all agreements met international and local standards, clearly defined responsibilities, and provided a robust foundation for the company’s global operations.

Firm´s role

HGG reviewed and strengthened key provisions across all agreements, including terms of service, subscription fees, indemnities, suspension clauses, intellectual property rights, and compliance obligations. For the engineering company agreements, our team ensured the terms protected the client’s interests, aligned with the partner’s operational framework, and incorporated recommendations to strengthen the client’s position. All work supported cross-border operations and international legal compliance.

Benefits

HGG’s guidance provided the client with a solid contractual framework that mitigates legal and operational risks, protects intellectual property, and ensures compliance. The agreements clarify responsibilities, reinforce partner relationships, and enable confident delivery of services across jurisdictions.

We’ve been working with Harris Gomez Group in Chile for the pHGG and their team have been instrumental in facilitating our arrival in Chile. We are a UK-based company that decided to bring cutting-edge technology to the Chilean Government, and we found that the initial path was not very clear—until HGG and their collaborators lent us a hand, providing clarity and confidence in the first steps of establishing ourselves in Chile.
