Alonso Aquino is an Associate Lawyer with Harris Gomez Group, specializing in corporate law and private equity.
His professional practice has focused on providing legal advice in corporate governance, corporate restructuring, cross-border transactions, and various private equity schemes including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leverage buyouts (LBOs), venture capital (VC) and growth equity.
Drawing on his experience with Latam-based assets, especially in the mining and real estate sectors, Alonso supports local and foreign investors throughout every stage of their assets’ growth, to negotiation and post-closing execution. Thus, he has setup funds’ legal vehicles, structure private mandates, integrated multiple multidisciplinary teams to conduct initial due diligence, and provided legal and commercial advice to identify exit events for investments.
Additionally, he has participated in the consultancy and implementation of estate planning schemes and provided advice in wealth management matters to family offices from Peru and abroad.
