Harris Gomez is the Founder and Director of Harris Gomez Group, an international and multidisciplinary firm specialising in cross-border transactions between common law countries and Latin America. With over 30 years of cross-border experience, he partners with innovative companies in resources, technology, and sustainability, providing strategic action and rigorous legal advice.

As a pioneer in the region, Harris established the firm’s office in Chile in 2001, making Harris Gomez Group the first Australian legal firm in South America. He remains the principal for practices in Australia, Chile, and Peru. Throughout his career, he has successfully negotiated and advised on hundreds of complex Mining and IP contracts with major mining companies across both regions, including Codelco, Rio Tinto, and Glencore.
