Chile Project Pipeline

It has been an interesting year for Chile´s mining industry. Some projects have been put on hold and others have continued to advance.  We have put together a chart to outline some of the projects that are currently being developed and another covering projects under evaluation.  The information was compiled from the Consejo Minero website which seems to take a more liberal view with the amount of projects currently on the books. Regardless, the charts are helpful to better understand the project pipeline for Chile.

It is important that you take a long-term view of the Region as it is easy to see that Latin America has a bright future. Companies that offer products and services that help mining operations maximise their output and efficiencies are in a great position to capitalise on a market that is focused on lowering costs.  The key to being successful in Chile is patience, building relationships and having a product/service with a track record of success.  In today´s market, you need to be able to quantify how your product /service can help the bottom line. If you can do this, then you’re halfway there!
